This young songstress has found a unique path to her musical style.  With her jazzy rhythms and bluesy raw voice it is impossible not to become entranced by her songs.

Growing up in Titusville and Orlando, Florida Elisa has always found herself on the creative side of the coin. Naturally shy Elisa always expressed her emotions through creative outlets. Whether it was dance, drawing, photography or writing her thoughts down in poetic verse, music played an important role in Elisa’s life especially in her early years. At sixteen Elisa discovered a new musical niche and became fascinated with the band Blonde Redhead. During this period she picked up a bass guitar for the first time and fell in love. Graduating from school early, Elisa headed to Los Angeles to attend college to get a degree in photography.  Some where along the way she began playing her bass more and writing music more. The allure of her becoming a solo artist set her future course.

Elisa’s LA experience created many memories as she matured from teenager to woman.  Through out this time she kept returning to music for comfort and solace as a means to express herself.  At the age of 19 Elisa’s musical mentor her Grandfather passed away.  An amazing guitarist that also played 12 other instrument made Elisa, in honor of him; want to learn to play the guitar.  She now added a second love in her life Edgar, her Fender Stratocaster.

Putting words to music helped her express early influences from The Beatles, Steely Dan, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, and Frank Zappa. With the help of musician Joseph Arthur, Elisa created her first song Only For You.   Once she heard this early rough version the floodgates opened leaving her wanting to create more songs.  Elisa was introduced to Dave Palmer (Fiona Apple) through a friend and began working with him.  The collaboration was magic and they ended up writing 7 songs together. Her favorite is Colours. To round out her album Elisa worked Wesley Harmon (Westyle Music) of Head PE to write Forbidden Fruit.  And Trevor Page on her second song she ever wrote Please Baby.  Her songs are reflections of her life experiences and how each has shaped her essence at such a young age. When you hear her music you know you are getting an opportunity to peer inside her soul.

In September of 2008, Elisa was fortunate to catch the eye of Smiley Records in Germany.   With the guidance of long time music producer Henning Gehrke and music executive Chris Flanger, she will be completing her new album Moon XVIII. Elisa’s focus is continuing to learn her craft while exploring new musical outlets.
